Fazila was born in Kabul Afghanistan and has been living in Australia since 1986 when she came here as a refugee. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Language and Literature at Kabul University. Currently, Fazila teaches at a language school and works with SBS radio as a presenter and broadcaster. Fazila's is very passionate about helping widows and children of Afghanistan, particularly widows who lost everything during the past 30 years of civil war especially during the government of Taliban. It is this passion that has led her to be involved Tents4Peace International as the Deputy Chairperson. Fazila contribution to the Council has been invaluable.
